What are non-surgical cosmetics?

Though an experienced cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Urbinelli also offers non-surgical cosmetics to enhance natural beauty. Options include:

Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin(R)

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are popular non-surgical cosmetic injections that temporarily reduce the appearance of frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead wrinkles. 

When coming in for these injectable treatments at PNW Plastic Surgery, Dr. Urbinelli personally creates your aesthetic plan with you and he (and/or his team of trained aesthetic injectors under his supervision) performs your injections. You can feel confident that he designs a plan that is safe and effective, addressing facial aging prevention, facial tone maintenance, and facial symmetry.  

Dr. Urbinelli specializes in neurotoxin use for medical conditions in adults and children, too, providing injections to treat migraines, facial pain/muscle spasms, and congenita or acquiredl muscular torticollis (tight neck muscles).

Soft tissue fillers and fat grafting

Radiofrequency (RF) with microneedling (Morpheus8) (face and body)

Morpheus8 is an aesthetic non-surgical tool that combines radiofrequency (RF) energy with microneedling to stimulate skin and collagen remodeling, getting rid of irregularities and improving your skin tone, contour and appearance. 

Non-surgical Body Contouring

Laser Lipo - Sculpsure

Non surgical fat loss is here - no pain, no downtime, no incisions.  In 20-30 minutes, a small applicator focuses a laser beam of light that selects for destruction of the fat under the skin and over the next 4-8 weeks your body metabolizes the melted fat.  In a single session patients can expect 20% fat reduction, we typically recommend 2-3 sessions 4-6 weeks apart with massage afterwards and plenty of hydration.  The beautiful part of this technology is the gentle heat spread helps to feather and taper the result which helps avoid divots or contour irregularities.  This is in contrast to Coolscuplting or other "free fat away" technologies which can create divots due to suction or limited spread/tapering of the effect or these competitors may cause paroxysmal adipocyte hypertrophy (PAH) in which a patient may get more fat to grow back in the treated area! Oh no!  Not with Sculpsure - permanent fat reduction - nicely contoured under chin, arms, thighs, abdomen or hip areas.

Topical Radiofrequency

Tempsure, Forma and Evoke are all treatments we love to tighten and tone the skin over the face and body using topically applied RF energy to build collagen and tighten skin.  Evoke is a hands-free device applied under the chin or over the cheek/jowls areas, while Tempsure and Forma are hand-held and applied by our technicians to treatments to saggy skin around eyes, neck, cheeks, arms, knees, etc.  Tempsure has a both a slightly smaller and a larger applicator to get in and around small areas of the face and cover large areas of the body and utilizes monopolor RF while, Forma and Evoke are bipolar RF.  We also have hands-free topical applicators for Tempsure to be applied like a warm towel massage over arms, chest, thighs, flanks, abdomen, hips and back bra rolls to tighten and tone skin nicely.

RF assisted Microneedling - Morpheus 8 Body

Like Morpheus8 to the face, this treatment stimulates new collagen production and tightens skin, but it is the deepest RF microneedling system available to generate RF energy and heat to the deepest layers of the dermis and subdermal fat to help remodel, recontour and tone all areas of the body.  This is a favorite treatment to treat stretch marks, old scars, post liposuction contour irregularities, cellulite dimpling and thin/fragile crepey skin.  

EvolveX Transform

A revolutionary new system that is topically applied to the body anywhere you want skin tightening, muscle toning and fat reduction.  It is comfortable, non-invasive and scarless body contouring.  The technology combines topical RF energy to heat and shrink the skin and fat while simultaneously using electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to contract and tone the underlying muscle.  We typically offer 6 treatments over 12 weeks for optimal results for a selected area to see the desired results.  

Chemical peels

PNW Plastic Surgery offers superficial and deep chemical peels based on your skin type and needs. Downtime varies depending on the peel and pre-procedural planning is often needed.

Intense Pulsed Light - Lumecca

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a dark spot correction treatment which is quick, comfortable and easily performed in office for skin blemishes, dark spots, age or sun pigmentation or small superficial veins or vascular lesions.  It is important to sun protect before and after any laser or light based therapy 3-4 weeks prior and after and we typically see improvements or diminishing blemishes in 1-3 treatments.

Laser Hair Removal - Diolaze

Diolaze is an effective quick and easy treatment to permanently removal unwanted hair from the body and face using a specialized laser selected based on your skin type and hair.    Typical treatment is every 2-4 weeks for 6 sessions to capture any new hairgrowth between sessions.  This can be offered over chin/upper lip, cheeks, legs, arms, back, chest, armpits or anywhere unwanted hair lives!

Regenerative facial contouring 

With regenerative facial contouring, Dr. Urbinelli uses regenerative therapies — platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and fat grafting — to deliver stem cells, growth factors and other restorative properties to your face and rejuvenate your look.
